Construction Inspector

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Construction Inspector based out of our Vancouve r office. The Construction Inspector will support various projects based in British Columbia and across Canada.

This position requires a strong understanding of construction inspection principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the work of contractors involved in construction projects and performs inspection and quality assurance activities.
• Frequently communicate with client representatives and contractors to ensure inspection activities are progressing against timelines.
• Observe and document construction activities in accordance with contract requirements, such as: daily diaries, daily pay item reports during progress of work, memos to contractor regarding acceptance or rejection of work, and more.
