The Calgary Alternative Day Options (CADO) program is a community‑based day program serving adults with disabilities. Clients can choose activities such as self‑employment, volunteering, recreation and leisure. Support includes goal setting, skill development, and creating natural community supports.
Job Summary
The Community Support Worker (CSW) supports clients to build empowerment, make positive decisions, and establish themselves in the community. Responsibilities include setting professional boundaries, guiding clients on emotional support and daily living skills, and engaging with community resources based on Individual Support Plans (ISP).
