Community Nurse - General Visiting RN
Job Description
Make a significant impact in your community as a General Visiting Registered Nurse (RN) with ParaMed. Your role involves providing compassionate care through scheduled visits to patients in various settings, ensuring their comfort at home.
This full-time position is a 1-year maternity leave contract with work shifts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and every third weekend. You will engage with patients of all ages, using your nursing skills to assess needs and develop care plans that promote independence and well-being in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients using appropriate tools and techniques
• Execute and monitor personalized care plans
• Build rapport with patients for effective care
• Maintain comprehensive patient records
• Provide on-call coverage for after-hours needs
Requirements:
• CNO registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
