Community Developer & Training Coordinator

The African Canadian Association of Ottawa is recruiting a bilingual (EN/FR) Community Developer & Training Coordinator to support community outreach, newcomer integration, youth and seniors programming, and capacity‑building initiatives. The role focuses on partnership development, volunteer coordination, training delivery, and program reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Community Development & Outreach

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with community stakeholders including nonprofits, settlement agencies, schools, funders, and government institutions.
• Lead outreach efforts to identify and respond to community needs.
• Coordinate delivery of ACAO programs (youth, seniors, financial literacy, settlement support).
• Plan and execute community events and engagement activities.
