Become Grove Electric's first Commercial Electrical Estimator in Lower Mainland, BC. Lead bid processes, perform takeoffs, and negotiate materials to secure profitable contracts.
Grove Electric is seeking a dedicated estimator to shape bidding strategies in its growing commercial division. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll review tender documents, conduct accurate quantity takeoffs, and prepare competitive bid packages. Your insights will guide project selection and establish productive relationships with contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review bids, drawings, and specifications for accuracy
• Perform manual or software-based quantity takeoffs
• Negotiate pricing and source materials effectively
• Build labour estimates using industry standards
• Maintain bid logs and ensure timely follow-ups
