Commercial Auto Underwriting Specialist

Become the backbone of SGI CANADA's commercial auto team as an Underwriter. This full-time position allows for hybrid flexibility based in Calgary or Edmonton.
As an Intermediate Underwriter, you will review new and renewal insurance applications, evaluate risks, and negotiate premiums with brokers. Strong analytical skills and understanding of underwriting processes are essential, alongside the ability to cultivate relationships with brokers. You'll enjoy a collaborative culture that promotes integrity and innovation from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review insurance applications for commercial auto products
• Determine acceptance or rejection of insurance risks
• Negotiate policy terms and conditions with brokers

Requirements:
