Job Description
Pursue your underwriting career as an Intermediate Underwriter (Commercial Auto) in Calgary or Edmonton. This permanent full-time role allows for hybrid working options after meeting probation requirements.
In this role, you will review and evaluate both routine and moderately complex applications, determining risk levels and whether to accept or reject them. You will also process new and renewal applications while ensuring customer service standards are upheld. A focus on sales negotiations and relationship-building with brokers is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate new/renewal applications for risk assessment
• Process applications, revisions, and cancellations for new business
• Negotiate terms and rates with brokers to meet guidelines
