Hydro One is hiring a Temporary 4-month Distribution Engineering Technician in Cobden. The role includes bi‑weekly pay of $2,045.66 to $2,523.60.
Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering investigations for new customer connections and upgrades, including completing layouts in accordance with current business practices and policies for forwarding to the Field Business Centre.
- Prepare sketches and detailed drawings for water, rail, and pipeline crossings; meet with representatives of telephone, cable TV, other utilities and government agencies to obtain reactions for joint‑use agreements.
- Prepare and process billing authorizations and permits as necessary.
- Carry out staking activities and prepare staking data.
