Job Description
Embark on a co-op role with Westlake Pipe & Fittings, focused on process engineering at the Woodbridge, ON plant. Assist in improving operations and supporting new product development.
This engineering co-op provides valuable insights into plant operations and engineering processes. You will work closely with operations and design teams to identify safety hazards and enhance manufacturing efficiency. Training in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participation in continuous improvement initiatives are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in safety culture and hazard analysis
• Collaborate with teams on operational improvements
• Aid in new product launches and design
• Conduct data analysis for better decision-making
• Lead efforts for cross-functional process enhancements
Requirements:
• Enrollment in an accredited engineering program (2nd year or above)
