Job Description
Enhance clinical research experience at the University of Calgary as a part-time Clinical Trial Assistant. Contribute to the PGx-GAP trial while supporting adolescents with anxiety and depression.
This is an exciting part-time fixed-term role within the Department of Medical Genetics. The Clinical Trial Assistant will work on the pharmacogenetic-guided antidepressant prescribing study over approximately 12 months. Candidates should have a background in health sciences and clinical research experience, especially in pediatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand trial scope, deliverables, and timelines
• Collaborate with Trial Leads on priority tasks
• Conduct screening, recruitment, and retention activities
• Manage data and document adverse events
• Plan project team meetings and produce updates

• Undergraduate degree in health sciences required
• Minimum 2 years in clinical research, preferably in pediatrics
