About The Role
Based at the QEUH campus in Glasgow, you would lead the West of Scotland consortium prosthetics service - a team of approximately 25 clinical and technical staff, serving a region of 3 million people, and an active patient population of around 3000. You would be NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s professional lead for Prosthetists. You would also have a small clinical caseload.
Through collaboration with the local team and the Scottish Specialist Prosthetic Service, you would develop and deliver a vision for the service that will adapt to an ever-changing healthcare environment.
Who We’re Looking For
Professional and strategic leadership are a significant part of the post, so highly developed communication, management and influencing skills will be needed alongside clinical, technical, service improvement skills - you’d lead and manage a large team delivering a complex, safety critical clinical service.
