**Help us reduce health disparities and grow our team!** The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking a full-time clinical track faculty psychologist in Pediatric Psychology and Behavioral Health to provide clinical services and education in the interprofessional UVA Health Children’s Diabetes Prevention and Fitness Clinic.
Responsibilities include:
+ Providing culturally responsive and evidence based psychological evaluation and treatment for youth at high risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, many of whom have obesity and related health complications
+ Providing consultation to the interprofessional team including a nurse practitioner, registered dietician, physical therapist, and social worker
+ Teaching pediatric endocrinology fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students
+ Contributing to scholarship regarding pediatric diabetes prevention and weight management
+ Participation on departmental and health...
