Climate Change Book Club Facilitator
Job Description
Become a facilitator for Brampton Library’s Climate Change Book Club and inspire community dialogue on important environmental issues. Guide impactful discussions monthly.
We are looking for individuals to help facilitate conversations at our book club, promoting community engagement through literature focused on climate change. Sessions occur at various Brampton locations once a month, allowing you to choose your involvement based on your availability. This role provides a great opportunity to enhance your leadership and facilitation skills while spreading awareness about climate topics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate monthly discussions on selected climate-related books
• Foster a welcoming environment for open dialogue
• Participate in the book club on the last Monday each month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
• Work alongside fellow facilitators to support outreach efforts
