Become a Class 1 Long Haul Truck Driver based in Surrey, BC. Enjoy a consistent full-time position with a competitive wage of $37.00 hourly.
This driving role requires frequent traveling and safe transportation of goods in either straight or articulated trucks. Training is offered, making this position accessible for new drivers. You will ensure thorough vehicle inspections as well as maintain cargo safety during transit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive trucks as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle checks
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding transportation needs
• Maintain detailed logs of miles, fuel usage, and cargo loads
• Ensure cargo is tarped and secured for transport
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or A driver’s license required
• Completion of secondary school education
• Flexibility to travel internationally and for extended periods
