Civil/Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Toronto, ON. The Civil/Commercial Litigation Lawyer will handle a wide array of litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing motions, and representing clients in court. The lawyer will also collaborate with clients, assist with case strategy, and ensure timely submission of legal documents.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Law covering areas such as civil and commercial litigation.
• Must have extensive litigation experience including attending motions, examinations for discoveries, mediations, etc.
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Commercial Contracts.
• Deep understanding of Legal Issues arising from corporate or commercial disputes.
• Ability to provide practical and accurate legal advice to clients on matters related to litigation and compliance.
