Overview

AtkinsRéalis has a large, experienced hydropower team (more than 350 employees), with engineers and technicians located across Canada, with the largest teams in Vancouver and Montreal. The team's areas of expertise include geotechnics and geology, civil and structural engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, as well as mechanical and electrical engineering.

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Chief Resident Engineer to lead and coordinate on-site engineering activities for a hydroelectric modernization project in Alma. The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between the site and the Montreal-based engineering team, ensuring strong communication, technical alignment, and effective support to construction activities. This individual will bring extensive experience and leadership to guide the resident engineering team and support the client in decision‑making.
