Cargo Handler

FedEx is hiring a Part-Time Cargo Handler at its Thunder Bay, Ontario facility located at 1115 Premier Way, Thunder Bay ON P7B 0A3. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Job Duties

• Load and unload freight within the facility
• Scan and sort freight accurately
• Transport freight within and between facilities
• Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and manoeuvre freight up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency trainingMust have the ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
