Elevate your role in municipal governance with the City of Vernon as a Senior Bylaw Compliance Officer. This full-time position blends bylaw enforcement with public engagement and regulatory oversight.
As a senior member of the team, you will be instrumental in enforcing parking regulations and managing public inquiries. Your supervisory experience will play a key role in mentoring Bylaw Officers and ensuring operational excellence. Strong communication skills and knowledge of local bylaws are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of Bylaw Officers
• Investigate bylaw complaints and enforce compliance
• Issue violation tickets and coordinate patrols
• Prepare statistical and compliance reports
• Assist in staff training and development programs
Requirements:
• Level 2 Advanced Bylaw Enforcement Certificate
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• Two years in a supervisory capacity
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
