About the Role

Join GE Vernova’s North American Construction and Commissioning Sourcing team as a key contributor, supporting supplier coordination, purchase order management, and project execution across hydroelectric projects in Canada and the U.S. As a Procurement Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact between project team members and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the procurement process.

Responsibilities

• Place new purchase orders, ensuring compliance with the guidelines and customer requirements.
• Lead Kick-Off meetings and related action plans.
• Make sure suppliers understand all technical requirements of the order.
• Follow-up on Purchase Orders, gather regular status and updates from suppliers, and maintain communication tools with project teams.
