The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing production materials, equipment, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies essential to business operations. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. The specialist will also support procurement-related assignments and contribute to inventory and cost optimization efforts.

• Procure production, equipment, and MRO materials required for business operations.
• Analyze customer purchase orders for compliance with BHE or customer contract terms.
• Execute and analyze the Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) on a weekly basis.
• Monitor and verify the materials pipeline to ensure alignment with MRP requirements.
• Identify and resolve supply issues to maintain production continuity.
• Achieve inventory goals for assigned customers or commodities.
