Job Description
El Regio Distribution Center is seeking an experienced Buyer in our Grand Prairie, TX corporate offices. The Buyer will evaluate bids and pricing to maintain a competitive advantage within the company’s marketplace while focusing on negotiating the best price from suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
Responsibilities:
+ Purchases materials supplies and any additional services by negotiating the best price.
+ Qualifies vendors, examine quotes or bids, and negotiates price and terms for purchase of goods or services.
+ Performs data entry of all purchase orders.
+ Sends, tracks, and monitors all purchase orders to vendors or customers for quality and maintains a current database of all vendor information.
+ Assist other departments when required.
+ Reviews requisitions.
+ Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
