Building Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, the Building Operator is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, maintenance, and repair of base building systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and client comfort. This role supports preventative maintenance programs, responds to service requests, and works collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to maintain building operations at a high standard.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Maintenance

• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot building system issues
• Conduct minor repairs to equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
• Ensure all base building systems operate efficiently and reliably
• Identify deficiencies and elevate complex issues to senior staff or contractors
