Job Description
Position Summary
This course examines the intersection between legal and business issues that challenge entrepreneurs as they develop their ideas, launch their new venture, finance and manage their growth, and assess possible exit strategies. Real‑world scenarios will be examined to identify various legal strategies employed by successful and unsuccessful new businesses. Law can be a tool to build competitive advantage or a tool to disrupt. Key topics covered in this course will include intellectual property law, advertising and marketing law, commercial financing, and government regulation of competition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- LLB/JD degree from a Canadian university or an equivalent degree from another country with a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation
