Teach and inspire nursing students as a Sessional Nursing Instructor at the University of Calgary! Focus on BScN courses this Fall and Winter Semester in Drayton Valley.
The University of Calgary is looking for qualified Sessional Nursing Instructors starting Fall Semester 2026 through Winter Semester 2027. This role requires extensive experience in rural long-term care and community health, complemented by educational expertise. You will manage both in-office labs and off-campus teaching responsibilities to effectively guide undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate simulation activities in clinical learning settings
• Work with small groups of students in diverse care environments
• Participate in faculty governance and course meetings
• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students
• Apply varied teaching strategies to enhance understanding
