Job Description
Lead regulatory supervision efforts as the Regional Director of Supervision for BMO Nesbitt Burns across BC and Prairies. Drive compliance initiatives and manage a team of supervision officers.
This role reports directly to the National Director, Branch Supervision, focusing on Tier 1 supervision activities and regulatory oversight. You will oversee compliance with CIRO requirements and provide coaching to enhance a culture of risk awareness across the regions. The Regional Director will play a critical role in managing supervisory issues and supporting Investment Advisory Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Tier 1 supervision initiatives across branches
• Fulfill CIRO requirements as a registered Business Location Supervisor
• Lead a team of 20 Branch Supervision Officers
• Support resolution of escalated supervisory and client issues
• Translate national initiatives into regional operational plans
