The Behavioral Health Regional Medical Director (RMD) is a leadership and clinical role within Advocates’ Behavioral Health Services Division. The RMD serves as Medical Director for the clinics of an assigned region. The RMD, in conjunction with and at the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, is responsible for the development, oversight, and administration of medical services in the region. The RMD provides clinical supervision for assigned medical staff and delivers direct clinical services, including evaluating medical and psychosocial conditions, collaboratively developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medication as appropriate, monitoring and evaluating treatment progress, and providing consultati...
