Back End Developer
Job Description
Hybrid, 3-4 days in office, Downtown Toronto
This permanent role is suitable for a engineer with 8 to 15 years of career experience (5-10 as a senior engineer).
Experienced with:
Microservice architecture and containerization
Kafka cloud or local
Large mission critical online applications design and infrastructure configuration
Relational and non-relational databases (MS SQL / Oracle / Mongo DB)
SCM and task trackers - Bitbucket/Git, JIRA and Confluence
Ability to deconstruct requirements into sizeable work tasks.
Ability to communicate with non-technical members of the team.
Nice to have:
Working experience in Agile methodology.
Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Nexus
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Elasticsearch and AI generative models experience
