Aviation Pool Pilot - Flexible Schedule
Job Description
Join STARS as a Pool Pilot, navigating our fleet from one of six bases. This role is designed for pilots who thrive on flexibility and can adjust to travel on short notice.
As a Pool Pilot, you’ll be responsible for the safe operation of aircraft and will ensure compliance with all regulatory and training standards. You must complete the AH145 training commencing August 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will have extensive helicopter experience and be adaptable to varying shifts and operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pilot STARS aircraft safely across different bases
• Maintain necessary aviation qualifications and medical fitness
• Ensure proficiency with regulations and aircraft operations
• Be ready for immediate travel and work 24/7 shifts
• Support vital patient care missions

• Current Commercial Rotary Wing Licence
• 1000 hours of helicopter flying experience
• Multi-Engine and Night/IFR experience desired
