Job Description
Join Cariboo-Chilcotin School District as an Auto 11/12 and Power Tech 9/10 Instructor for a full-time temporary role. This contract runs from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, at Columneetza Junior Secondary and Lake City Secondary.
This teaching position is ideal for candidates with prior teaching experience in Auto and Power Tech at the secondary level, who possess a valid BC Teaching Certification and a Bachelor’s of Education in Trades Technology. The District is committed to professional development, fostering new teachers through mentorship and leadership training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in Auto and Power Tech classes
• Create lesson plans that engage students
• Supervise shop activities and safety protocols
• Actively participate in continuing education programs
