Summary The primary purpose of the position is to conduct comprehensive financial and compliance audits, analysis, and evaluations of the financial operations and related procedures. Completes assigned credit card audits quarterly on procured credit cardholders for accuracy. Conducts external reviews of credit card samples received from Financial Management System (FMS). Position aligns under Fiscal service. Responsibilities Major duties, include but are not limited to the following: The incumbent reports administratively to the Assistant Financial Officer for review and discussion of accounting, payroll, voucher, employee travel, property, plant and equipment, agent cashier, general post funds, and patient funds audits, and certifies their adequacy, accuracy and propriety. Evaluates the current system of internal control to detect weakness in control procedures and recommends remedial action.
