Audiovisual (AV) Producer

Position Overview

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Consultant, the Audiovisual (AV) Producer develops and produces The Carillon podcast series and social media content. This role helps bring stories, interviews, and discussions to life through engaging audio and digital media.

Responsibilities

Content Production (70%)

• Develop podcast concepts, themes, and episode plans
• Research stories, topics, and guests
• Create scripts, outlines, and interview questions
• Record high-quality audio using production equipment
• Edit podcasts using software such as Audacity or Adobe Audition
• Produce audio/video content for social media
• Ensure polished and accessible final products

Collaboration (20%)

• Work with editorial leadership to align content with priorities
• Participate in meetings and provide updates
