Associate (mid-level) - Employment & Labour Law

4 days per week in office – Montréal

We are seeking a lawyer to join the Employment and Labour Law team at our Montreal office.

Responsibilities

As a member of this practice group, the successful candidate will be required to draft opinions and arguments, provide advice on various employment and labour law issues, and plead before the courts.

Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience representing clients in employment and labour law;
• Experience in workers' compensation, occupational health and safety, employment standards, employment contracts, grievance arbitration and human rights law;
• Advocacy experience;
• Business acumen and ability to build and maintain trust‑based relationships with clients and the team;
• Ability to effectively manage multiple files, meet tight deadlines and re‑evaluate priorities as needed;
