Position: Assistant Lecturer and Lab Coordinator (Term 12)
Location: In-person at North Campus, Edmonton
Department: Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science
Start Date: on or shortly after August 1, 2026
Responsibilities
- Teach at least five courses per academic year, including but not limited to NU FS 100 – Introduction to Food Science and Technology; NU FS 250 – Applied Food Theory; NU FS 374 – Food Fundamentals and Quality; NU FS 450 – Product Development.
- Play a key role in executing laboratory components of these courses by offering technical expertise and logistical support, preparing laboratory materials, maintaining equipment, and performing technical tasks.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Food Teaching Laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and purchasing laboratory supplies and equipment cost‑effectively. <...
