Responsibilities Assists the Human Resource Manager (HRM) in supervising Human Resources Specialists in the areas of local labor management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, staffing (recruitment, requesting certificates of eligibles, interviewing and pre-employment processing), classification, employee benefits, workforce projections, pre-employment, the performance evaluation and incentive awards programs, time and attendance, leave administration and compensation. Assists in the review of program areas to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Participates with management officials in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and programs including the strategic planning process.
