Elevate student-athlete performance as a Technical Specialist Assistant Coach in rowing at McGill University. Engage in coaching, statistics, and support for the rowing team.
Under the direction of the Head Coach, the Technical Specialist Assistant Coach will assist in enhancing athlete performance and developing training strategies. Key responsibilities include equipment management, practice preparation, and statistics tracking. Previous rowing experience and coaching skills at an elite level are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and distribute rowing team equipment
• Prepare training materials ahead of practice
• Record and analyze competition statistics
• Support implementation of practice strategies
• Assist with Olympic event delivery at the CURA’s
Requirements:
• Level II NCCP certification or equivalent
• Two years of coaching experience in rowing
