Responsibilities
- Apply Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulation and Code and company safety policy related to all aspects of construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layout in accordance to building codes and project specifications.
- Measure, cut and install wall blocking and backing.
- Measure, cut and install parapet sheathing.
- Install building vapour barriers and thermal membranes.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residential, commercial and light industrial structures.
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
