Summary About the Position: Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific East District operates 21 schools located in Japan across 7 communities. There are nearly 900,000 military connected children of all ages worldwide, of which more than 8,000 are enrolled in DoDEA Pacific East District schools. Federal employees in Misawa AFB, Japan are currently entitled to receive a 5% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary (rate subject to change). Responsibilities Plan, manage, direct, and coordinate budget formulation, analysis, and execution. Coordinate with Headquarters to manage manpower support for the school. Oversee and support civilian personnel actions. Administer the student registration, student attendance, academic records maintenance, tuition status, and other related processes.
