Adjunct Instructor, Public Speaking
Job Description
The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, University of Southern California, is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to supplement full-time faculty teaching for COMM-204 Public Speaking during the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience such that he or she can teach in the areas of principles and practices of effective oral communication, analysis of the speaking-listening process, selection and organization of speech materials, and use of new presentation technologies.
Requirements for consideration include an M.S. or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience is desirable. Graduate-level coursework or advanced academic training in these areas is also desirable.
