Accounts Payable Team Lead - 6 months (Toronto)

Overview

Our client in the engineering and water infrastructure space is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to join their team on a 6-month contract . This role requires five days onsite each week at the North York office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five AP specialists, providing direction, support, and performance feedback.
• Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable processing for multiple Canadian and US sites, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to policies.
• Implement and refine standardized AP processes, controls, and workflows to modernize the function and improve efficiency.
• Monitor daily AP operations, including invoice matching and approvals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
