Accounting Analyst

Position

Opportunity for the position of accounting analyst who performs functions related to credit portfolio accounting for a regulated entity in compliance with the accounting rules of banking regulations, Mexican financial reporting standards, and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Control both manual and application systems monthly accounting journal entries.
• Prepare inputs required for credit loss reserve determination on a monthly basis as well as regulatory reporting requirements.
• Analyze accounting and operating records booked in the general ledger to determine relevant variances.
• Prepare information on a monthly routine to provide to the tax team to comply with tax requirements.
• Prepare accounting reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Understand operating systems for downloading monthly reports.
