Job Description
Overview
EllisDon is seeking an Accounting Administrator to support corporate and project accounting activities, including daily banking activity, general ledger posting, invoicing, receivables, month-end reporting, and collaboration with project teams and the Tax department as required.
Responsibilities
- Review daily banking activity, post transactions to the general ledger, and communicate with the bank to follow up on errors and/or potential fraudulent transactions
- Communicate with project teams as required and post cash receipts to the relevant project invoices on a daily basis
- Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis, monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts (e.g., bank reconciliations, accounts receivable subledger reconciliations), prepare and record journal entries and cost allocations, and perform other required accounting functions and analysis
