Job Summary Our client in the Scientific Instruments industry based in Accra is looking to recruit a full time detail-oriented and highly competent Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls, supporting business planning through budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring adherence to Ghanaian tax and statutory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting & Compliance: Maintain accurate general ledger (GL), accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations Ensure compliance with GRA requirements, including VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax Oversee timely payroll inputs and manage SSNIT Tier 1 & Tier 2 contributions Enforce internal financial controls and policy adherence (expense policy, procurement policy, petty cash) Coordinate external audits and maintain audit-ready documentation Capture all data accurately an...
