2026-023 Youth Programmer
Job Description
Overview Reporting to the Director of Youth Services and working directly with the Youth Department’s Regional Coordinators, the Youth Programmer will assist in the development, facilitation, and evaluation of youth programming within the Mushkegowuk territory. This will include working in partnership with front‑line workers in each community to identify gaps in service delivery and establishing new networking partners to ensure a wrap‑around approach to programming and/or other health services.
Requirements
Bachelor of Social Work, Sports and Recreation, Indigenous Studies, or equivalent post‑secondary diploma in a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience working with Indigenous youth
Sound knowledge of Mushkegowuk’s current social issues and the long‑term effects of multi‑generational trauma
Valid Ontario Driver’s License
Clear criminal reference check (CPIC) and Vulnerable Sector Check
